The FW722 addressable manual stations are UL/ULC listed according to UL 38 and ULC-S528 for fire protective signaling systems and indoor use, meeting ADA compliance with 5lb maximum manual force requirement. Constructed from durable materials with solid components for long-lasting performance, the normally open initiating device generates an alarm signal when the front cover is lifted and the plate with button is pushed. A red LED becomes visible on the station when the fire alarm signal is activated, providing clear indication of activation status. The intelligent, addressable manual station takes one address on the signaling line circuit (SLC) of the fire alarm control panel and can be wired in Class A or Class B configurations. Terminals 3 and 4 provide dry contact functionality (normally open in standard models, normally closed in NC models) rated for 30 VDC at 2A supplementary. Operating on 24 VDC nominal voltage (15-28 VDC range) with minimal current draw of 0.1mA standby and 1mA alarm, the unit mounts on 2x4 inch or 4x4 inch electrical boxes using the FW700 surface box. Available in English (FW722) or French (FW722C) with red housing, the station includes a reset key and operates reliably in temperatures from 32°F to 120°F and humidity from 0% to 93% RH.
