FW962G Multi-Candela Horn/Strobe

The FW962G horn/strobe combines multi-candela visual and audible signaling with white LED light source technology, listed according to UL 1971, UL 1638, UL 464, ULC-S525, and ULC-S526 for indoor use and FM approved. The LED light source offers superior performance including low power consumption and long operating life, with six selectable light output levels: 130, 105, 85, 50, 35, and 20 candela.

The strobe produces one flash per second over the regulated voltage range, while the horn generates temporal tone designed per ANSI and NFPA 72 for standard emergency evacuation signaling. The appliance features synchronization capability for multiple horns and strobes throughout a complete fire alarm system. Operating on 16-33 VDC/FWR regulated voltage with current draw ranging from 30mA to 164mA at 16Vdc depending on candela setting, the unit produces sound levels from 77-85 dBA (UL reverberant) or 85-91 dBA (ULC anechoic) at varying voltages.

Available in red or white finish, the device mounts on FW900/FW901 notification appliance bases with 12-18 AWG wiring. Operating reliably in temperatures from 32°F to 120°F and humidity from 0% to 93% RH, the horn/strobe is compatible with FW951 sync modules and FW105/FW106 control panels for wall or ceiling installation.
