This development consists of two separate six-storey condominium buildings totaling 124 residential units in Langford, British Columbia. The project is part of the municipality's Attainable Home Ownership Program, specifically designed to assist local residents, RCMP members, and Canadian Armed Forces personnel posted to Greater Victoria in achieving their goal of homeownership.

Fire Protection System

Each building at Trailside by The Lake features an independent, comprehensive fire alarm system with advanced smoke control and building pressurization capabilities.

System Components:

  • Control Panels: Dedicated FW106 control panel for each building with compatible booster power supply
  • Detection Devices:
    • FW511 smoke detectors providing rapid smoke detection
    • FW722 manual pull stations for occupant-activated alarms
  • Notification System:
    • FW962 horn/strobe combination units for common area notification
    • FW972 mini-horns for in-suite audible notification
